When it comes to singer-songwriters in the Folk & Blues tradition, Biber Herrmann belongs to the

  cream of the crop.

Renowned European label "Wonderland Records" signed the artist in 2006, and in 2007 released

  the brilliant "Rainbow Walker" album.

On the album, one experiences Biber Hermann as an eloquent song poet who - contrary to the

current trend - makes direct for the soul of his listeners with both sorrow and raw truths.

His multifaceted, unerring lyrics melt in his blend of outstanding vocal performance and masterly

guitar playing, which settles into tonal spheres, only to fall into hypnotic, bare-knuckle rhythms the

  very next moment.

Alongside his own songs, Biber Hermann also pays tribute in his own fascinating way to his

musical roots: the trance-like lamenting melodies of the past masters of the Blues.

Mississippi John Hurt, Skip James and Robert Johnson have all left their mark on the earthy style

which he has skilfully developed as his trademark. Far removed from any cliché, Biber cantillates

an intense and credible Blues, which seems to make time stand still.

The fact that "Rainbow Walker" is graced by the presence of two of the most highly renowned

guitar  gurus, Werner Lämmerhirt and Peter Finger, is an indication of the status afforded to

Biber Herrmann in the music world. A track co-written with songwriter legend David Munyon

provides evidence of the international recognition he enjoys.

On the "Rainbow Walker Tour", one witnesses Biber Hermann the candid and confident stage

performer; an artist who employs humour and sensitivity in equal amounts to create an atmosphere

which captivates and touches the audience.

The list of artists with whom Hermann has already shared the stage reads like a Who's Who of the

international folk and rock scene: Herman Rarebell (Scorpions), Pete York, Werner Lämmerhirt,

David Munyon, Peter Finger, Louisiana Red, Steve White, Tony Sheridan, Yannick Monot, to name

  but a few.
